The owner, Axel, went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, even offering a free upgrade to a room with a balcony and stunning views of the Cité. The shared bathroom and kitchen were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast of freshly fried pancakes with homemade marmalade was a delightful touch. I felt like I was staying at a friend's house, and I will definitely be returning.

Stayed at a place with a garden view like I'm some kind of royalty. Also, I got to enjoy the convenience of free WiFi while sipping my tea. How posh!

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, with everything in good condition and a beautiful room with fresh air from the garden. The hotel facilities were great, including the use of the kitchen, which was a bonus for us. The location was terrific, as we were able to walk everywhere, especially to the medieval castle which was very close by. The staff was extremely helpful, polite, and considerate. They even made us coffee upon arrival. it was a wonderful stay.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Carcassonne! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the castle, and the window views of the castle were absolutely stunning. The hotel was also very clean, cozy, and quiet, allowing for a peaceful and restful stay. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. The host was very polite and friendly, and the amenities like the huge TV, coffee machine, and tea pot made my stay even more enjoyable. it was a great value for the money and I highly recommend this hotel.

The units at Casa Del Castell are equipped with spacious kitchens and dining areas, perfect for enjoying meals together. We loved the private entrance of the double room we stayed in, it gave us a sense of privacy and convenience. The balcony in our double room was a great addition, providing a lovely space to relax and enjoy the view. The location of the external bathroom being just 2 meters away from our room was very convenient.

Personally, we didn't find the dishwasher in our double room necessary, but we understand that some guests might appreciate it.
